Hershey kisses……

What can we say, when you’re next to the town that Milton Hershey built you have to, gotta go. Hitting the factory in the afternoon we we’re glad that we had a motorcycle to park. Licence plates from all over the U.S. and even some Canadian plates.

A trip through time on their ride through the factory in chocolate wrapper side cars and displays that include singing cows and machinery churning out Reese’s pieces, Hershey kisses, Twizzlers, Double Bubble gum, York bars, Kit Kat….you know. Then off to the souvenir store stocking up on traveling chocolate and goodies that Hershey makes and of course sells at great touristy prices…….

Also being in the town of Penn State University we took a tour through the campus of their natural and applied sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. Of course a visit to the bookstore for another souvenir or two.

Onward today through Maryland, Washington DC and into Virginia. Our plans are to be in Williamsburg, Virginia by Wednesday.
